Easy to follow but hard to understand

If you are used to Adobe CLASS IN A BOOK series, you will like the way this book walks you through examples. This book has great supplement(CD) and examples but it was really hard for me to understand things. I hope author revise this book carefully and make it more understandable on next edition. I don't want to recommend this book to any beginners.

AI Explained

I found this book to be an extremely interesting read. It gave a good overall picture of the developing field of AI as well as it's history. It's a great stepping stone for people who are familiar with discrete math & logic to get an idea of what is on the horizon, but it is not the end-all-be-all of intelligent agent design; in an area of science that changes day by day, I think the authors took a brilliant snapshot and laid a good foundation for future learning. I must admit, however, if I had needed to read this book for a course in school, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much. But isn't that the nature of school?

Galvanizing Hair!

I have never read this book, and I don't care about its contents. Just look at the second guy from the left on the cover. I want hair like that! That's why I gave it five stars.

Annoying Writing Style

What the Torah is to Judism, what the New Testament is to Christianity, so is "Intro" to relational database theory and practice. One can not reasonably consider themselves a competent practitioner (or even student) of the topic without thorough mastery of "Intro".
