A great book if you want to learn UNIX.

I've used unix quite a bit but never really knew what all I was doing. This book helped put some ground under my feet. It wont teach you everything (and my only gripe is it doesn't go into enough of the tough stuff) but it covers most everything you need to USE unix. Look to other books for administration, installation or troubleshooting.

This is a must have for beginners. There is nothing else like it. It's very easy to follow lessons and it comes with a CD that contains all lessons and in every lesson they give you the final result so you can compare and see did you do it right. MUST HAVE BOOK.
