Oracle PL/SQL 101 is "the book" for learning PL/SQL

Oracle PL/SQL 101 is both instructional and practical. The more I read and perform the exercises, the more confidence I am gaining to do my job and to prepare for the OCP DBA Exam 1. Also, I e-mailed Mr. Allen (his e-mail is located in the Introduction) for the scripts, and received them within 12 hours. Thank you Mr. Allen.

AS2 inner works for everybody

I have Flash MX 2004 Pro (the software), but have so far mainly used MX (Flash 6) as I have no programming background and had no idea about all this "classes" thing.
This book has explained everything to know, from classes, subclasses, interfaces, coding practices etc, to code libraries, packages, typing, swc export, and patterns.
Thanks, Colin, now I'm ready to start using MX 04!

THE book for CCNA preparation

Lammle manages to pull off a rare feat -- producing a detailed book covering all of the technical objectives necessary for passing the CCNA exam while using a conversational, and often humorous, tone to create an easy read, cover to cover. It is safe to say the book, coupled with the accompanying CertSim simulations - which matched the look and feel of the actual simulations - is the primary reason I passed my CCNA 801 exam. Lammle's Sybex book is a must have for anyone seeking the knowledge required for CCNA certification.

Definitely worth the cost!

The publication of this textbook was a major step forward, not only for the teaching of AI, but for the unified view of the field that this book introduces. Even for experts in the field, there are important insights in almost every chapter. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have an introductory overview of the state of AI. And I recommend it to experts in the field, who will enjoy its unified description of the field. I especially enjoyed the introductory chapter and the chapter on philosophical issues. I have taught from this book three times now, and it has improved my AI class hugely.
