Utterly useless

The code in this edition in so-called C++ is just a copy-and-paste of the C edition code. All the functions have just been made members of ONE "NR" CLASS. The code presented brings none of the improvements that C++ could have brought. This turns this book into an ABSOLUTE [bad deal] as THE C EDITION IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE ... Once again, this would only be useful for the explaination of the algorithms since the code in the C edition is a rather inefficient transcription of Fortran into C.

This book is excellent and really taught me how to get the most out of Access. The explanations are clear. The examples are very useful and make it easy to learn new techniques.

New Web Designer

As a "newbie" to webdesign, I wanted a book that would help me to understand the basics and develop a complete, well-rounded knowledgee of web design. Jennifer's book is excellent. The examples and the pictures really facilitate learning. Also, at the end of the chapter are review questions and exercises, which further aid in the learning process. All-in-all this is an excellent book for anyone new to web design.
