Excellent 70-316 resource

The 70-316 tests Windows knowledge. The 70-316 Training Guide and Exam Cram provide a thorough understanding of using Visual Studio, C# and Microsoft .Net for programming Windows applications.
Like all Exam Crams, this book is meant as a review. As such, it is more than adequate. Read the Training Guide first for a thorough undertanding of the Windows concepts. Then read this Exam Cram 70-316 as a review before the test.

Title: Secrets and Lies : Digital Security in a Networked World
Publisher: Wiley
Authors: Bruce Schneier
Rating: 4/5
Customer opinion - 4 stars out of 5
Essential reading for anyone interested in Security

I first tried reading the Authors other book, Applied Cryptography, but that was way too technical for my needs. Then along comes this book, at just the right level. I encourage everyone to read this to get a basic appreciation of the issues and underlying principles. The only disappointment was there is very little material on Chip/Smart Cards; this is a fast-evolving area of study, and I hope there is another edition soon with a chapter on this topic.

Title: Software Engineering: A Practitioner's Approach
Publisher: McGraw-Hill Companies
Authors: Roger S. Pressman
Rating: 1/5
Customer opinion - 1 stars out of 5
Awful book

Horribly organized with too many fillers.
Too many meaningless phrases only makes sentences longer making meanings less understandable.
The size of the book would've been half if useless phrases were not used too much.
