This book is for teenagers

You may buy this book if you are 10-15 yeras old (price is a bit high though for this type of book for your age) AND there is no one (parent, friend) around to explain what this is all about. You should not buy this book if you have any kind of higher education.

Check this out...

First of all, I won't write a review if I cannot give a product at least 4 stars. I do have to give this one 5 though.

I don't like everything Microsoft Press publishes, but this book is quite good. I was very new to SQL and had to learn quickly. This book and "The SQL Server 2000 Book" by Anthony Sequeira saved me from severe panic attacks.

If you want to learn about SQL Server 2000 take my advice, PLEASE!

Almost perfect

The major quality of this book is that provides answers for everyone. For the beginners it explains all concepts as they are used, don't have to read the book three times to have a complete understanding. For network administrators it gives lots of troubleshooting hints and ideas on how to accomplish task. For consultants and designers, it has the in-depth knowledge. The side effect of this approach is the size. At 1600 pages is difficult to read and to structure the information. A 2-page summary at the end of every chapter would help.
