Do not use this book for 310-016 SA 9 Upgrade Exam

This book was awful for preparing for the Solaris 9 Systems Admin Upgrade exam. The book has no info on debugging Jumpstart install issues; doesn't go into Flash Install in enough detail; missed the 1 question on LDAP client(I got it right by remembering the answer from my Solaris 8 books); has little useful info on SVM and RAID, I absolutely either had to guess or remember from years ago the answers to the SVM/RAID questions. What else? The book doesn't cover UFS snapshot enough to answer the questions asked on the exam.
I managed to pass purely on luck.
I cannot for a moment believe this book is ideal for the 014 and 015 tests either.
I definitely say skip this book.

New to Servlets , JSP, EJB ? Then you need this book

I bought many books from many authors to learn how to build a web site using Java, and this is just another excellent book to have. Trust me, you will get hooked as soon as you start reading page 1.

Great PIX reference

This is a great book on how to use the Cisco PIX firewall.

Even though Cisco has great documentation, there is still a lot you can learn about PIX, and this book show you how.

Where's the Beef

The fifth edition leaves you drowning for information. I used the fourth edition to pass the A+ Core exam with flying colors. The fifth edition was used to study for the A+ OS exam, 2003 guidelines. After taking the exam, this book provided at best 25% of the material covered on the exam. While no book should teach to a test, a book dedicated to an exam should teach the material that will be tested. The A+ premium practice exams were purchased from totalsem.com, they too fell well short of preparing an individual to take A+ OS exam.
