Outstanding book on forensics

This is an outstanding book. Well written, very educational. If you're tasked with handling computer security incidents, you'll want to have a copy of this book on your bookshelf. The first chapter is an outstanding quick overview of the entire scope of incident response.

Great General Purpose Textbook on Servlets & JSP

I teach Occupational Retraining courses. The textbooks we look for are "Hands On" -- focusing on how-to rather than academic why-fors. None-the-less you need a certain amount of understanding of what is going on "under-the-hood" into to really understand how to use any technology.
In my opinion, and that of almost ALL my students, Marty Hall's "Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages" is the perfect balance between theory and practice.
If you are going to teach Java Servlets & JSP or if you are going to learn these topics, you can't go wrong with Marty Hall's book!

Title: HTML & XHTML: The Definitive Guide, Fifth Edition

Excellent!

This book emphasizes a careful and methodical approach to authoring HTML. Characteristic of O'Reilly books, its academic style of writing is clear and elegant, evident in the level of comprehension gained at the end of each chapter (it is completely free of stupid analogies that seem to pervade many technical books). The "shorthand, quick-reference definition" boxes are unique and resourceful. In short, this is an outstanding publication.
