Perfect Guide

I have read up the most curent available sources for information on CSS. This is the definitive guide on CSS. I have searched high and low for a book of this quality and finally found it.
This book give you more than just bulk information. It breaks everything down and basically builds it back up for you. I don't know how well this book might be for the beginer, but I found it extremly useful.

The best general purpose book on the subject I've seen

Probably not a book you're going to put on your coffee table, but if you've got any interest in this subject matter at all this is a book worth having. You can flip it open to just about any page and find something interesting. Most of the descriptions in this book move from general to specific, so you can jump around from chapter to chapter getting an overview, or dig more deeply when you want more detail. The references at the end of each chapter are also very useful. Whether you want a survey of the field or are trying to implement something specific, this book is a valuable resource.

You can't ignore this book if you work with After Effects

After Effects is the Photoshop of motion graphics. Whereas Photoshop is covered by many books, very few do cover After Effects, let alone so well as this book does. Insights, techniques and some great examples are all there. The novice user will be delighted to learn how powerful this tool is. Most of the experienced users will be surprised to learn how little he/she knows. And nearly everybody will be happy to have this book in their hands.

Finally! A Great Book about security!

Finally a book written by authors who know their stuff and can express themselves well. I have read many books about security and most of them focus simply on how things work, but not ho to use them effectivley when designing and building networked applications. However, this book delivers: it is rich in depth and breadth, and is really easy to read.
What's surprising, is I thought I knew how to build secure apps, 'til I read this book!
