Classic book, does not need a review.

This book is a classic, and also a bestseller on its area, like the Design Patterns book.
Its awesome value for money, and very beautiful with many coloured web pages reproduced.
I am glad the web is changing in this direction.
I recommended to the whole company. I wish companies gave it as Christmas gift to employees generating content to the web.

A superb, inspiring book!

... though there are plenty others in the book that are fascinating.
I flipped open the book just now and arrived at a discussion of whether Maya Ying Lin's Vietnam Memorial should have had the names ordered by date of death or alphabetically. As there were over 600 Smiths who died in Vietnam and 16 James Joneses, an alphabetical listing would have given the memorial the flavor of a telephone directory.
Tufte persuasively argues and demonstrates how graphic design and information presentation affects thinking, decision-making, and emotion.

The ultimate security analyst handbook!!

After sifting thru virtually tons of security text and documentation, one name seems to pop-up all the time: Stephen Northcutt. So, I purchased this book (based upon his experience and work with Shadow) and needless to say, I was very impressed. Not only did I immediately put his methodologies to work on our current environment, but it provided me with a vast amount of detailed information to catapult me into even deeper security topics, as well as help me get going with my preparation with the CISSP exam... A killer handbook no security analyst (or network/systems administrator, for that matter) should do without!! Awesome job!
