Using After Effects... then you need this book.

I think that this book is an absolute must as a reference guide for those that are already experienced AE users (nobody can remember all of those short-cuts) and a great place for the novice to learn the product. I already own several other AE books and this one is by far the best that I have seen to date. The layout is superb, easy to use and easy on the eyes. There are lots of 4/color examples and it comes with a CDROM that contains lots of free Ae 3rd party filters and 22 project files which go along with the tutorials.

There simply isn't a better book on this topic

No matter how long you already work with PL/SQL, (and with the Web it gets a new importance) I bet you will get to know the "even better" - techniques. And for topics one hasn't implemented yet I consider the "teaching approach" excellent; which for me means: equally good for a beginner as for the experienced. I'm in since 10 years and - in combination with the same authors book "Programming in Packages" - I got much more than I expected. Thats why I blindly ordered the authors new book "Oracle Built-in Packages" coming around May 98. I'm looking forward to new ways "of doing it".

VB.NET / Notepad

My first project out of University back in late 1995 was supplemented considerably by the use of a SAMS Unleashed book, CGI unleashed I think it was called. This book was a godsend and endeared me greatly to the Unleashed series.
So now I return to coding using a later generation technology (replacing CGI some may argue) and this brings me to the current book.
As a reference, this is undeniably good, perhaps the best, sheer volume (1435 pages) is amazing, and everything is pertinent to developing .NET applications. It's a great book that deserves to be as popular as it is.
The Visual Studio IDE is rarely mentioned, a good sign, as this purely focuses on development using concepts, not page filling waffle on how to use the MS IDE (and remember other IDE's such as JSharp are now also becoming available!).
As a one volume .NET reference this is the best. Buy it and confirm that fact for yourself.

Güzel bir kitap

Mark Minasi's Book "Mastering Windows Server 2003" is patently hands-down the finest instructional material I have had the pleasure to read in my 22 years in Information Technology. Not only does this book provide step-by-step instructional guidance that is thoroughly formatted in a concise and logical manner, but you will find that it is an absolute indispensable must-have as a reference guide in your day-to-day network operations and maintenance. Easily worth three times the price and I would recommend it to anyone that is considering a move to Server 2003. As a side note, I would add that the "newcomer" will also find this an excellent source for getting started. I.e., the book is written such that even the novice will soon learn to master Windows Server 2003. Beginner or Expert, you cannot lose with the excellent masterpiece!
