Great Book, Great CD!

This is a great book for learning and working with Painter IX. The CD that was included with the book works fine and is very helpful. If you have used Photoshop and think that the two programs are the same then this book will more than show you that Painter IX takes working with paints and photos in a completely different direction. I work with Photoshop at work for pictures, but at home I turn to Painter IX and really have fun. Jeremy clearly knows the program and is able to explain things in a very clear fashion. If you have Painter IX or are thinking about getting Painter IX then you need this book.

Senseless book

I bought this book, and believe me, it's a waste of money!!! I thought the book was great, but it has no sense at all. It has a total of 0 examples, it's about 1,000 pages and each command is learned separately, which has no sense at all. You cannot learn from this book, i assure you guys!!!.

1st edition was great, and..

i am considering buying the second edition. Have never seen a computer book change so much in the 2nd edition, new stuff.
This would not be your first JSP book, as that guy from Bern wanted. His clue should have been the word "Professional". I found Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages by Marty Hall to be an excellent starter if that is your level. Then buy this book.
