Wonderful! Simple explanations for a complex subject

If you have no idea how network security works than this is THE book for you! After reading several RFC's and other books and materials on topics such as IPSec, Diffie-Hellman, Message Digest, etc., and not REALLY understanding how they work, this book made it easy! The examples in the book are very simple- too simple to be used in the real world. But that's fine because once you understand the examples in the book, you can apply the concepts to real world stuff without being completely confused.Thank you Mel & Baker!

Simple, small and clear

There are many HTML books in the market. Not a single come close to be so simple and clear as this one. "HTML: The Definitive Guide" is still the best, but if you need to get the basics, there is no better option.

The light went off 100 times in the first 50 pages

Some people have the knack of taking a complicated or confusing subject and developing it in such a way that it just makes sense. This book is an easy read and excellent reference. I bought it because of the reviews of others and was not disappointed. In fact I also bought Excel 2000 Formulas by the same author and it is excellent as well. Great job!
