poor job

While it does enable a beginner to get started in Windows98 it is hopelessly incomplete. It affords very little help when you run into trouble and is very poorly indexed. One could do with a little less cutesy language and a little more substance.

Good discussion of how XP works.

This book provides a good parellel to Beck's manifesto (XP Explained), but falls a bit short of Beck's book.
The authors make an effort to try and explain how to apply XP to your job, and succeed fairly well, but infuse their opinion on how some things should be done throughout.
Nonetheless, this is as essential a volume as Beck's, and should be considered worthwhile. Like XP Explained, this one is well written, simple but never childish, and filled with information.

A very good book on the market

You need to practice more questions than the ones that comes with this book (simpler than actual exam). Don't feel so confident if you getting good results after doing its questions. To be fair, there were questions exactely like in the book but expect more multiple choice in the real exam.
This book contains few mistakes and few questions that are not covered in its content.

Good 2004 Book

This book does an good job of teaching basic to intermediate techniques. I like this book because it is very clearly written and gives you instructions step by step: "Click the front plane" and "Click the rectangle" and so on. There are lots of graphics, pictures and examples to help you along. The CD contains lots of movies about the projects and extra tips to show you how to just do it. I recommend this book for the new user.
