Title: Sams Teach Yourself ASP.NET in 21 Days (2nd Edition)
Publisher: Sams
Authors: Chris Payne
Rating: 2/5
Customer opinion - 2 stars out of 5
Not for the Novice

I purchased this book to convert from classic ASP to ASP.NET unfortunately the book is littered with mistakes which unless you have some idea of what you are doing you will find difficult to correct yourself. To make matters worse the publishers do not even have errata corrections on their website to point you in the right direction. Unlike OReilly who have errata for all of their books.
The book was also written against the Beta release of the software and this raises problems for anyone who is developing with the Gold release.
This is not the first SAMS book that we've been unhappy with!

Title: Absolute Beginner's Guide to C (2nd Edition)
Publisher: Sams
Authors: Greg Perry
Rating: 5/5
Customer opinion - 5 stars out of 5
A terrific starting point for C

Perry knows how to clearly explain the C language and keep the readers interest. The chapters are concise and not overloaded. The language is very clear. The only problem is that he could have given a few mpre examples. Still deserves 5 stars for clarity.

Title: Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Hands-On Training (Hands on Training (H.O.T))
Publisher: Peachpit Press
Authors: Garo Green
Rating: 5/5
Customer opinion - 5 stars out of 5
Beginners Resource

If you're running Panther on a Mac G4 machine, than this is the book for you, assuming of course you've upgraded from Dreamweaver MX. If you haven't than you certainly should think about doing so, because the 2004 version has so much to offer.
Others have said it, and I'll second the motion, this "Hands-On Training" book should have been the one to come with the official program. Garo Green and Lynda Weinman from lynda.com assume you have only limited knowledge of how your Mac works. No knowledge of HTML is required. If you can work your mouse, you're ready to go. You'll be designing your first website in no time at all. This one gets two thumbs up.

Presented concepts clearly, please publish solutions.

I liked your book. You presented alot of concepts in a clear manner. However, please publish a solution manual for all chapter problems. Also, please discuss FIFO method in more detail.
