Best book about TCP/IP ever

Stevens has achieved something that I was searching for; An intense, simple and essential Illustration of TCP/IP. I am currently writing a FireWall and this book was the first step I had to take into this networking world. I still use it as my primary reference book.

The book that got me my start

Jeffrey Friedl is the man whom I credit for getting my start in computers. I sent him a thank you email after reading the first edition of his book a few years ago and he was really polite in his reply. Once you take the time to learn Regular Expressions, you'll often wonder how you got by without them. There is no better book to teach you than this one.

If you do web design, YOU MUST GET THIS BOOK!

This is the perfect book for those who know something about the web but just need help in putting together the perfect web site. The illustrations are so helpful, as well as the author's hints, tips, and advice for designers and non-designers alike. She's obviously a pro, and if I can't find the time to do my company's web site myself, I'll just have to hire her. If you get only one book on web design, make it this one!!
