This book is a gem

This is the best book I have ever read. The writing style is informal, things are explained clearly. The book deserves 5 stars just on the writing style and clarity of presentation. Professor Griffiths displays a mastery of the subject and makes a beautiful subject even more beautiful. Sure this is not a graduate level book but that does not demean it in any sense to Jackson - the two are aimed at different levels. I am a grad student and I still find this book invaluable. Professor Griffiths deserves an award for this work :)

A definate must have GEM for Begginers to Pro

When I first heard of this book I was skeptical because of the math because most books take for granted that you are a math wiz. But this book not only explains the theory but also the concepts behind the math and code.
For any one wanting to get into game graphics and game development I HIGHELY recommend this book Fletch and Ian knows how to teach and hope they continue to teach young padawan learners like me by making thoroughly well made books like this.
EVERYONE MUST GET IT!!!!!!!

A lot of Info for the Price

I've been away from vb for about six months and wanted to find a book to brush up on the subject. This was excellent for that purpose. The only problem I had was that the editing is a little weak. For instance, a variable will be declared but used with a different name in the subsequent code - things like that. If you think there is an obvious mistake, just quit dwelling on it and push on. There are numerous small mistakes that will drive you crazy if you are a perfectionist. If you can live with imperfection :), you will benefit from this book.

This is a good one

Hopefully, this book will find an audience well beyond hard-core web surfers exploring browser alternatives. Those who do discover it will find that not only is it a fine, well-written guide to the power of Firefox, but is also an excellent introductory textbook for Web browsing in general. The writing style is crisp and faintly humorous, with little or no geek-speak.

The coverage of Firefox's tabbed browsing, extensions, and live bookmarks is worth the price of admission.
