This is the Best book for 3G(UMTS) radio network interface

I've read more than 5 books about UMTS air-interface. However, most of books concern only about the physical structure. They didn't tell you WHY the structure is made for. In this book, the explanation is clear and the summary table is really useful. Most of all,it tell you WHY they are made for. Only you know the SPIRIT of physical structure, you will realize the BEAUTY of 3G. I recommand this book for someone with beginning knowledge about UMTS.

Title: Discovering Statistics Using SPSS for Windows : Advanced Techniques for Beginners (Introducing Statistical Methods series)
Publisher: SAGE Publications
Authors: Andy Field
Rating: 4/5
Customer opinion - 4 stars out of 5
A Really Helpful Study

A.Field's "Discovering Statistics" (using SPSS for Windows)is a must book for not only undergraduate and graduate students but also for the instructors like myself. The language of the book is stimulating the redaer, and Mr.Field's way of explanation is both a creative one and has the sense of humor which makes the book more readable. Its content is well-designed and the reader is able to follow up what each type of analysis is all about, and more importantly how the outcome shoul be interpreted. Although first chapters are written as a refreshment of statistical knowledge, I would like to suggest to the reader to have a primary knowledge about both the basics of research methodology and statistical methods as well as statistical techniques to use them in accordance with the research problem(s).I would also like to point out the fact that some critical issues like "the meaning of standart error" is explained in an efficient way in comparison to that of ordinary statistics textbooks. In short, the book is, indeed, a very helpful one for anybody who wants to use SPSS for this or another reason.

Title: How to Cheat at Managing Windows Small Business Server 2003
Publisher: Syngress
Authors: Susan Snedaker
Rating: 2/5
Customer opinion - 2 stars out of 5
Not much more than dialog boxes and help screens

With few exceptions, this book simply instructs the reader to accept default prompts and reiterates the choices offered by dialog boxes. I suspect the book has two target audiences: 1) small business owners who don't want to know much about SBS and just get it running, and 2) those who need to get it running but also want to learn about the program. For the first group, I suggest you save the time you would spend reading the book and do whatever it is you do to make money and use it to pay an IT professional to install and configure SBS. For the second group, I suggest you buy another book that explains SBS in greater detail.

Rating: 5/5

Excellent, The Definitive Text for Mathematica 3.0 !

The only and the best reference for Mathematica 3.0. Written by the chief architect himself and founder of Wolfram Research. I know of no text anywhere in physics or general science for that matter, covering any subject that compares to the depth and detail that is contained in this book written by Dr. Wolfram. This book is an absolute must for anyone wishing to know all the details about the latest release of Mathematica. It is about 50% longer than the second edition, and includes many new features on how to take full advantage of Version 3.0. I wholly recommend this text!
