Great HTML Book

This book was fantastic. Before I got this book, I was slowly gaining HTML knowledge by painfully searching through AOL's information sections. When I found this book in the bookstore, I realized it was the best thing that could ever happen to me! I learned quickly and I eventually improved my pathetic website to a fairly well designed site with the help of this book. It's comprehensible for us non-programmers, too!

A Must Buy for Game Developers

I couldn't put this book down. Its the only Cg book out there as of now, and its written by the minds at nVidia; the creators of Cg. It does a fantastic job of explaining the language and the all-important vertex/fragment concepts in a good amount of detail. There are also many example effects featured in the book that you can try out yourself and see in action(providing you have the appropriate hardware support).

Very ordinary

this should be named as mobile and wireless glossary. it's not beyond that. no in depth analysis of design issues or technologies related to wireless and mobile industry. not good for wireless/mobile techies. will recommend to sales people who want to have very high level idea about this field.

You'll need more than this book will provide.

This book is not enough to pass the exam, at least the exam I received. To many holes on security. My test was 1/2 security type questions and needless to say I did not pass. I did have a home test lab and did every lab at least twice. In my lab I had 98, 2k, and XP home and Xp Pro. I do have extended experience in the networking world. I did buy the XP Pro Manual as well and I am equally disappointed. I did purchaced additional manuals to pass the the tests. Exam Cram manuals WERE one of the best.
