JNCIA: Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate Study G

This is a great book! It will not give you the test questions and answers for the test. What it will provide is a great source of information relating to routing and an introduction to Juniper's routers. The depth of information in Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate Study Guide is sufficient to pass the test. The questions in the book and on the CD require the same level of understanding as the actual JNCIA exam. In fact I scored the same on the bonus exams (located on the CD) as I did on the actual test. I have been working with Cisco equipment for over eight year and with Juniper routers for a little over a year. I have my CCNP and CCDP. With my background, this book and three weeks, now I have my JNCIA certification. Don't take the JNCIA certification test lightly. I would rate it at the same level as the CCNP and CCDP. With this book and some time you should be able to pass the exam.

Title: OpenGL(R) Shading Language

Excellent book about realtime shader development

For beginners, the books gives an very good introduction into the OpenGL shading language. It starts with giving an overview over the previous OpenGL rendering architecture, smoothly motivating and introducing the shading language. Then, chapter by chapter it goes more and more into depth, containing interesting stuff for experts. This includes topics like advanced procedural texturing including antialiasing, NPR rendering and imaging techniques. The language and structure of the book is clear, easy to follow and precise (especially compared to the Direct3D SDK documentation). Very useful is the appendix containing a shading language and API reference. Whoever works on realtime computer graphics should have this book in his shelf. One minor warning for beginners: The book assumes that you are familar with OpenGL itself. The book does not replace an introduction into OpenGL.

The Best Book On C

This is the best book written on C,or for any programming language for that matter, in the words of its authors "C is a small language, and is not served well by a big book". And served it is. Reading and comprehending the material in this book, followed by doing the excercises and making use of the appendices will help you become a good C programmer. As a UNIX systems engineer, I find this book to be invaluable, and I carry it with me in my briefcase so as to have the masters K&R by my side when I code.

A must have!

I have attended a few classes on data design, and this books was the only one that taught a process to developing the data structure. The book was very helpful and I have implemented the procedures in to my everday work.
