Buy something else

My copy ended up in the trash. There are so many typos, grammatical errors and mismatches between the examples and the software, that I should have returned it for a refund. It reads like a rough draft of what could be a book. And to the good people at "Dummies", PLEASE use a proofreader next time.

Excellent Resource

I highly recommend this book. It makes for an excellent first reference on digital printing. It reads well and does not innundate you with overly technical jargon. In addition, it covers many brands and types of printers. As for the previous comment on the unfair bias towards Epson printers, I would have to disagree as this book simply mirrors the what's available and popular in the industry. If I had to make one negative comment, it would be that there isn't much in the way of problem solving. However, to incorporate that would make this book unnecessarily long as it's probably unique to each printer.

Easy professional programming

I tried to learn C++ many times, but because the books I used were very complicated I stoped. THIS BOOK is a real C++ book. Every beginner who want to learn fast and easily, this book is the best one. Don't search further. Start with this one. It's very easy to understant, very "very good" written. You will understand every single statement. It explains the basic steps to write C++ Windows applications. It starts with "a very good" review of C programming, even though the classic I/O part isn't explained. Chapters are well organized, with solutions for every exercice. Well done Ivor!

Good book , Computer Science majors only!

Good coverage of rationality, the structure of agents, search algorithms, and decision trees. However, the book is highly theoretical and mathematical, it would not be appropriate for any business majors. I teach Information Systems in a college, I still use Kurzweil's book because I cannot find anything better suited to our needs.
