Pci Express System Architecture

(...)I spent a couple of days trying to use this book and found engineering inforamation and details lacking as much as they are lacking in the spec. I am looking at other references for engineering help.

Best of the bunch.

When I took over the responsibility for our church website, I knew nothing about HTML or web design. After one on one instrucion from 2 other people who had some experience, and after trying 3 other books on the subject, all to little avail, I came upon Ms. Castro's "HTML For The World Wide Web". In very little time, I began to feel more comfortable working with HTML. It is well written, easy to understand and follow, and not written above the average person's head. Each time I refer to it, I learn more about structuring and changing a web page.It is not only a great teaching tool, but also a great reference.I highly recommend it to beginners and old hands alike!

Title: C: A Reference Manual (5th Edition)

Simply an excellent reference

Where I work we use C, Java, and C++... in that order of frequency. Many people have several years of C experience doing real work: cross platform CAD software. So it is a tribute to the quality of this text that other programmers borrow my copy of it often enough to force me to track it down when I want it.
It is concise, accurate, and the examples are useful.
Why only 4 stars? Well, I reserve that for books that help the reader change paradigms of thinking and working, or apprehend new ones to address problems for which they had no solution paradigm.
It's a reference, one that is terse enough to be useful and not so terse as to be opaque.

I believe that this book is a great book. The only problem is that you have to know a little bit about computers
