Very helpful book.

I passed the Java 2 exam with 83%. Had I gotten a hold of this book earlier, I would have done much better. This book really gets into details, and you will be facing such twisted and sneaky questions on the real test. The test at the end of the book is a lot more difficult than the real one. While preparing for this test, make sure you understand why you made mistakes in answering the book's test/sample questions, and be sure to write code to practice uncertain concepts.

Title: WarDriving: Drive, Detect, Defend, A Guide to Wireless Security

Excellent Resource

Probably 9 out of 10 of us with home-based wireless networks are using Linksys. And probably the 9 are all using the default settings. The chapter on wireless network security here shows how to change the out of the box settings and also walks you through filtering with MAC. The really interesting chapters are the ones on wardriving and attacking wireless networks. Any questions you might have about antennas, 802.11 cards, WEP, GPSD, Kimset, NetStumbler, scanning/attacking wireless networks, etc. can be answered here--and it's interesting reading.

The Good Gets Even Better

I have been playing Star Wars RPG for the past few years. The game was finally bought by WoTC and I was excited to hear that the game would be changed. I was also a bit skeptical. After a quick look through the book I was very impressed! The pictures are wonderful but don't take away from the enormous amount of content. If you have never played an RPG it is a bit hard to get started with this but they just couldn't fit anymore in this book! It's got everything you need to play hours and hours of Star Wars with all your friends. A great book worth getting for everyone who enjoys any type of game.
